The actress was one of several celebrities to come out in favor of a more natural look after a slew of studies in the past few years have linked the color pink to depression.
I dont want to be seen as the one who is doing the negative things that Ive been doing for the last decade, she said in an interview on Good Morning America.
When people look at me and they think, “Oh, she has a natural look,” that is not me, she continued.
“If you look at my body, my face, my hair, I feel like that is my normal.”
When asked about the recent trend of celebrities and brands embracing a more feminine image, she explained that she wanted to be “more myself and not have my body as a commodity to be sold on.”
“I want to keep my beauty and my beauty, and not sell myself,” she said.
It was just a matter of time, she added.
